According to a news report, a certain private school in Washington was recently faced with a unique problem. A number of 12-year-old girls were beginning to use lipstick and would put it on in the bathroom. That was fine, but after they put on their lipstick they would press their lips to the mirror leaving dozens of little lip prints.

Beneath the stars, in the cool night air, the sounds of rockin' Beach music and soulful Blues flowed readily over the crowd gathered at Thronateeska this past Saturday night. Nothing really prepared me for this amazing evening of music, other than a few Otis' Redding records I had listened to on my mom's stereo as a child, and oh man was I impressed! Although the crowd was slim the music was HUGE! What a night and what great performers.
